  • Bolt in an Independent Rear Suspension (IRS), Limited Slip, and 14 inch Brembo Brakes to have the baddest Chevy OBS on the Block. Use our PSI brackets to bolt in a rear subframe from a 2010-2015 5th Gen Camaro IRS. Complete Camaro subframes are readily available at wrecking yards, for less than the cost of rebuilding your stock differential and adding disc brakes. The brackets allow the use of the all the stock Camaro mounting points for the suspension links and rear sway bar. 

    Brackets will come black powder coated ready to bolt in. Simply cut a C-Notch into each frame rail and drill new holes using the brackets as a guide. Your stock leaf springs and perches should be removed to save weight. 

    The brackets are designed to use a Coil-Over, such as one from VIKINGRIDETECH, QA1, Summit, etc, for a 5th Generation Camaro. The stock spring and shock from the Camaro is not used. We used a RIDETECH 11.5 inch coilover with a 3.6" stroke, and a 500 lb 8" spring, but you can use the coilover of your choice. 

    These brackets will also work with the the rear subframe from a Pontiac G8 2008-2009, Chevy Caprice 2011-2017, and Chevy SS 2014-2017.

    Wheel sizing we found is best to base it off of 5th Gen Camaro rear wheel specs.

    Camaro IRS Width is 67.5 inch, 2wd C1500 is 65 inch, 4wd C1500 is 68 inches.

    Requires a 3 Bolt Differential to U-Joint adapter such as Sonnax T35-GMFD-01K or (DANA 3-2-119 and GForce CAM10200R) 

    Add an adapter to mate a 1350 U-Joint Yoke to your 3 Bolt Differential

    Your stock gas tank will not work, without denting the rear corner for clearance.  An S10 crew cab gas tank will not work without denting the front top corner for cab clearance. For weight balance we used a Mustang gas tank between the frame rails.

    Will not work on 2 door Tahoe models. 

    Thanks to Hawks Motorsports, we are offering the Camaro rear subframes as an add-on option that will dropship directly to the customer. These rear subframes come complete with rear cradle, differential (3.27, 3.45, or 3.91 ratios), axle, hubs, sway bar, control arms, and bushings. Factory Camaro brembo brakes (Calipers and Rotors) are optional to add-on as well. These subframes/diffs will come guaranteed working in great condition from Hawks.  

    NOTE: Subframes will ship separately. Shipping price will be calculated AFTER SALE and we will reach out to the customer for shipping payment.
