Transmission: TKO600 (5 speed Manual Transmission)
Rear End: Stock 1960 Corvette with 4.56 Posi Center Section
Suspension: New aftermarket front end suspension, with ball joint and rack and pinion conversion with coil over shocks. Rear suspension is stock.

Background

This car was purchased by Joe Vezzosi in 1995. The car had previously been swapped with a 1968 DZ 302 Chevy engine and muncie 4 speed manual transmission. Over the last twenty years the car has been upgraded with new stock components with all body work and paint being done in 2006. Having gotten a taste of the LS swap performance, it was decided to pull the carbureted small block and muncie 4 speed out of the car and do a frame off restoration which included powder coating the frame, new suspension upgrades, a crate LS3, TKO600 overdrive manual transmission and new wiring from PSI. The goal of which is to drive the car on Hot Rod Power Tour. 

Progress

Current progress of the vehicle is the engine and transmission are installed in the chassis with the Body being prepped for new paint and detailing in the engine compartment. Once that is completed, the body will be lowered back on the chassis and wiring will commence. Stay Tuned for more updates!
